Don’t Trash ‘Em, FREEZE ‘Em!
Before you get concerned that you might have too many cookies, not enough cookies, or cookies left over that you have to eat in a day or they will go bad… TAKE A DEEP BREATH! It will be okay. These cookies not only have a pretty decent shelf life, they freeze AMAZINGLY! Here are a few things you should know about saving your cookies:
– Should I just leave the cookies out on the counter? I don’t want them to become hard!
+Put your cookies in an airtight container to preserve their moisture.
-I didn’t have enough cookies to go around at my party!
+Be sure to order a few extra for those who have a SUPER sweet tooth.
-We had to reschedule our event, and now I have to eat 24 cookies in a day!
+No need to eat all the cookies yourself. You can save the cookies for when your event is rescheduled! Freezing the cookies is EASY!
FREEZING INSTRUCTIONS
-Place cookies in small baggies separated from each other
-Place all cookies in an airtight container
-Place container in freezer
THAWING COOKIES
-Put container of frozen cookies on your counter counter till container/cookies are room temperature (make sure ZERO condensation is visible)
-If your event is in the evening, take them out first thing in the morning
-If your event is a day time event, I advise to take them out the night before
-Take off lid of container and let cookies fully come up to room temp
-Once you see no condensation and the cookies are at room temp, take them out of the bags and SERVE!
