I'm Kelsey Mae
I’m a wife to my bestie, and a mom to our 2 incredible boys. We are also a “waiting family” for the domestic infant adoption of our future daughter. (see more under the adoption tab in the menu)
I am a child of the 90s and a creative soul always looking for a voice. I have done just about every form of art, dancing, acting, painting, ceramic, drawing, sewing, and now cookie-ing! As much as I enjoy all forms of art, I feel home with the icing bag in my hand!

How it All Started
So, let’s set the stage: The year is 2019. It’s December and I’m looking at these beautiful cookies on Pinterest trying to figure out how to get them to magically show up at my nephews baby shower. But I guess there is this thing where cookiers can’t ship cookies under the cottage law of their state. (same here in MI if you are asking) So instead of doing what normal people do and looking for a baker in my area, I decided with the generosity of my aunt, to snag some cookie cutters, meringue powder, binge watch YouTube videos, and dive into the world of sugar cookie decorating, it’s now January 2020.
After that initial set with these SUEPER cute elephant cookies that took 8 hours to do 4 of them…I decided, this cookie thing was TOTALLY for me. So I watched more videos, read books, tested recipes, learned about the beauty of WHITE food coloring, a cookie turn table, and a really sharp scribe.
Moving on from there I did everything I could to design creative sets and learn new techniques. My hubby also saw the value in me NOT buying every cookie cutter that came into my vision for a set, and he bought a 3D printer. (Late Summer 2020)
I’d say we learned a lot in 2020. Not only did we figure out how to do life during a pandemic, we also figured out how to run a business together. My hubby and I have worked together in the same environments since the moment we met, it seems only fitting that we continue that way.
Now we have a giant mixer, a dough cooler, multiple 3D printers, A Christmas Cookie Challenge 2021 WIN and a business we love. Thank you for your support! We can’t wait to bring you along for the fun!

Get to Know Me
- Fun Fact #1: I met my husband working at the Apple Store. We have worked a lot of jobs together since, and tend to like it best that way!
- Fun Fact #2: I have 2 kiddos - Fisher and Hamilton. They are my life and my joy. I feel so blessed to be picked to be their mama!
- Fun fact #3: We are a WAITING adoptive family. This means we have filled out all the paperwork and completed the necessary steps to bring our daughter home. We are just waiting for a match.(read more under the adoption section)
- Fun Fact #4: I am a Christmas Cookie Challenge 2021 WINNER! When I started this gig, being on CCC was my 5 year plan, but when God opens doors...it's hard to say no!
